Import and export catalog of best practices
We cover in a dedicated article how to create a catalog of best practices and share it with other spaces in your organization.
Packmind also offers a feature to export an existing catalog to reuse either in another organization or another instance of Packmind (e.g., an on-premise version).
Export a catalog
You need to go into the Catalogs -> My Catalogs menu from the top bar navigation menu. Then, select the catalog you want to export.
Once you're on the catalog page, just click on Download catalog button.
The catalog will be downloaded in JSON format, and you can now import it from another organization.
You can choose whether or not to include source code examples in the catalog.
Import a catalog
You need to go into the Catalogs -> My Catalogs menu from the top bar navigation menu.
Then, click on the Import Catalog button. Load the JSON file corresponding to your catalog of best practices, and that's it!
